AISI 304 UV sterilizers for small flow rate, equipped with low pressure vapour mercury lamps, enclosed in high quality quartz sleeves and managed by high efficiency electronic ballas. Available in the basic “A” version with plug and green/red led for lamp status monitoring or “D” LCD display UV³ with smart functions. MINI series is suitable for flow up to 12 m³/hr with an initial UV Dose of 30 mJ/cm² and in “D” version is available with optional sensor for UV irradiation performance and temperature of the water inside the chamber.
Typical application is in DOMESTIC installations where often is required removal of micro-organisms and bacteria, such as Cryptosporidium and Giardia lamblia, which have a high resistance to chemical disinfectants. With UV systems the DNA-RNA of bacteria is destroyed, and water is made reliable for human use. Also in POINT OF USE applications, water must be the purest possible, without micro-organisms, bacteria, legionella: the UV system process is often needed to killl bacteria and make water useful for human use
